Harford County Public Schools (HCPS) will open kindergarten registration for the 2026-2027 school year on March 6, 2026. Families can complete the registration process online by clicking here.
Early entrance to kindergarten and advanced placement to first grade applications will also be available starting March 6, either online or as printed copies at each elementary school. Families applying through the printed form should follow the directions on the application's cover sheet.
Prekindergarten applications will open May 1, 2026. Additional details on the prekindergarten process will be shared as they become available.
HCPS encourages community members to share this information with families who may have children eligible to enroll. The district looks forward to welcoming the Class of 2039 in the coming school year.
