Harford County Public Schools celebrated its Transportation Employees of the Year on Tuesday, April 21, at an annual luncheon sponsored by Freedom Federal Credit Union. The event brought together this year's winners and finalists to be recognized for their dedication to students and families.

The honorees were first announced at the Celebration of Excellence in Education on April 15. Tuesday's luncheon offered a more intimate setting to celebrate their contributions. Guests were welcomed with live chamber orchestra music performed by HCPS students, and artwork created by students during February's Love the Bus Month was on display throughout the event.

HCPS transportation employees are often the first and last familiar faces students see each school day, and this annual event is one way the school system expresses its appreciation for the work they do.
